With the help of Fr. Meza, Our Lady of Guadalupe Association (Guadalupaños) has opened its first chapter in Georgia at St. Teresa of Avila. Guadalupano Society is an association born in San Antonio Texas recognized and promoted by the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Its goal is to promote the message and devotion of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The association also helps the parish to raise funds for the needs of the parish. The first group of more than 30 Guadalupano members will be officially installed on December 12 during St. Teresa’s 6:00 Mass and presided by Bishop Hartmayer. A group of delegates from San Antonio, TX will come for that occasion. For more information about the Guadalupano Society, please call the Hispanic Office. Guadalupanos meet every second Friday of the month from 7:30 to 10:00 pm. All are invited.
