All middle school and high school students (6th through 12th grade) are invited! After the 6:00pm Mass, Fr. Ingram will lead us from the church to the Columbarium where the luminaria will already be lit. We will also pray a Rosary for all those whose lives have been touched by cancer. If you would like to purchase a Luminaria or Torch of Hope in memory of or in honor of someone, information is available on our website at www.st-teresa.com/relay-for-life. Order forms are also available in the Parish Life Center after all weekend Masses. The sale of the Luminaria and Torch of Hope is a fundraiser for the St. Teresa of Avila Relay for Life Team and the funds raised will go to the American Cancer Society. When the sun goes down, luminaria (candle-lit paper bags) light the way under the stars for us to remember and pray for those we have lost to cancer, those who are currently battling cancer, and those who have fought cancer and won. As everyone walks in silence, there is the time to reflect on dedicating ourselves to finding a cure. The luminaria that light up the night symbolize the hope with which we all continue to fight. If you would like to join the St. Teresa Relay for Life Team, details and sign-up information is online at www.st-teresa.com/relay-for-life.
